Q: HOW LONG ARE WE ON THE HORSES? A: Most rides average two hours. The overnight ride includes two-hour rides each day. Q: WHAT IS THE ACTUAL TOUR TIME? A: Excluding hotel transfers, most tours are approximately 3.5 hours. With hotel transfers, the average tour last six hours. Q: ARE CHILDREN WECOME? A: Yes, children over the age of 5 are welcome. Helmets are required for children ages 5-17. We do supply helmets. Q: WHAT KIND OF CLOTHES DO I NEED TO WEAR? A: Please wear long pants and comfortable, loose-fitting clothes, closed toe shoes, and a hat. In the winter months, take extra care to wear layered clothing. Q: WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO BRING? A: Please bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, and a smile! Q: DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO DRINK? A: Bottled water is provided during all rides. Other beverages are served at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Q: WE ARE A GROUP, HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE ON A TOUR? A: We can accommodate up to 100 people on one tour. For groups of more than 100 please call us toll free at 1-866-552-7838. Q: HOW IS THE WEATHER? A: While the weather can vary greatly, we can offer some general tips to help guide you. During the winter (Dec., Jan., Feb.), it is cold in the mornings and evenings. Always wear layered clothing and a hat. In spring and fall (Mar., April, May, Sept, Oct., Nov.) daytime temperatures are warm, but it can get cooler in the evenings and remains that way until late morning. In the summer (June, July, Aug.), it is warm to hot, but comfortable. Sunscreen and hats are a must. No matter what time of year it is, we do not permit shorts or open toed shoes. Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? A: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. However, a $25 cancellation fee per person will be charged on all cancelled rides (unless you reschedule). Any no-shows or cancellations received after the 24-hour period will be charged full price. NO EXCEPTIONS! Q: WHAT IS YOUR SECURITY AND PRIVACY POLICY? A: Las Vegas Horseback.com understands the ongoing consumer concerns surrounding Internet-based credit card transactions and information. We have taken the highest security measures possible to ensure a fully secure, worry-free Internet transaction while visiting lasvegashorseback.com's Web site. Your information will never be resold or provided to any other organization. Q: ARE THERE ANY WEIGHT LIMITS? A: We try to accommodate people of all sizes, but there are limits for the horses. People who weigh more than 300 pounds (and have good athletic abilities) have enjoyed our tours. However, if you weigh more than 300 pounds and are not physically fit, please call so we can make every possible effort to accommodate you.
